I want to hear from you

Calling all Shaka Soap customers!!
I am working on a shampoo and conditioner and would like some folks to test it out for me =)
First I need some scent ideas and then some honest feedback on the finished products (honest, not mean, please ;)

It is still a few weeks out, but we will be testing dog shampoo also, so if your furry pals would like to be washed in Shaka Shampoo, let me know!

If you have a scent idea, please leave a comment below and if you are interested in testing out shampoos and conitioner, leave a comment below and we will contact you if you are chosen!

Thanks for all your aloha and support. It means the world to me

Mahalo and hang loose ;)

  2. I would love to test your shampoo and conditioner :)Coconut would be an awesome scent, or better yet...the same scent as your citrus honu soap. :)

    1. You know we'll have coconut shampoo. We couldn't be a Hawaiian company if we didn't! =)

  3. Coconut anything gets my vote. I'm always down to try it out too-- on me or the dog ;)

  4. Vanilla or coconut, or a combo would be wonderful.

Will the shampoo be safe for use on coloured hair?

I would be happy to test out either - my dog can always use a bath too!

I was also wondering if you would have any interest in making a natural insect repellant. When we were camping earlier this summer, I was using "Deep Woods Off" in a spray can. The can was sitting on a plastic tablecloth, and there was obviously some residue left on the can from our spraying (although not enough that we noticed it). The can left a big scored circle on our plastic tablecloth. And I am putting that on my body! So now I am on the hunt for a natural insect repellant for next summer.

    1. Hi Marilyn,
I am in the middle of working on a natural insect repellant! It is still in R&D and probably won't be out until next year, lots of essential oils to research ;)
But the scary chemicals that are in store-bought spray repellants are concerning, which is why we make so many things. Our skin is our largest organ, and it takes a beating sometimes!
